Can I get a solar system for free?
This is a question that is often asked, and the answer is yes.
Once you accept that you will be paying for electricity for the next five years, a solar system can be considered to be free.
It is without doubt that you will use electricity to power your home and or business, and maybe even for your car, for the next five years.
You will use electricity to power your lights, heating and cooling, cooking, cleaning and entertainment systems with in you home, that is not going to change anytime soon.
The cost of grid electricity has risen continuously over the past decades and there is no reason why this trend wont continue, if fact it could increase even faster in the years to come.
Now Here Is The Good News
A well designed and installed solar systems will save you money from the first day it is turned on. From the first day you will reduce the amount of electricity you have to buy from your electricity retailer and therefore your next electricity bill will be lower, saving you money.
Of course you need to pay for you solar system, which I may do buy using money in your bank accounts or taking a loan via your mortgage or a loan from a renewable energy finance provider.
If you have money in the bank, solar provides a fabulous investment opportunity for you because the return on your investment in your home solar system will give you a 25% to 50% return for at least the next decade, and almost certainly much longer. When you consider that you bank is only paying say 1.5% to 3% on the money deposited in your banks acxcount
